Introduction

Inefficiency is inherent in almost all HVAC systems – both new designs and existing installations – leading to systems that are excessively costly to install; consume too much energy; expensive to operate and maintain; and deliver poor levels of comfort. This is especially true for large organisations including Universities, where CHP (combined heat and power) has been deployed, but systems are often not optimised for best return on investment or maximum energy savings. Furthermore, with the drive towards net-zero carbon by 2050, many Universities are considering how best to adopt low carbon heating and cooling technologies, either within existing installations or as part of new designs.

In this webinar, attendees can expect to learn how to improve return on investment from CHP installations; reduce HVAC energy costs by up to 30%; lower carbon emissions; and improve comfort and performance across your University estate, using model based engineering software.
We’ll also show case study examples from our experience of over 100 HVAC optimisation projects. More comfort, 30% annual Opex saving and up to 10% Capex saving are common results we have achieved with investment payback times between 1 and 3 years.

Why your heating bills are higher than they should be!
Rising energy prices are the talk of the town. Meanwhile, the energy used to heat buildings represents approximately 70% of annual energy consumption, meaning tackling the costs of heating has become a top priority for owners and operators of buildings across the private and public sectors. So, what can you do?
