2021: Another year for the books

Once again the previous year proved to be an interesting and even challenging one. For us at Hysopt, it was no different. But we are very proud to say that we contributed to a change for the better.

After the world had to reinvent its ways in 2020, 2021 proved to be just as interesting and even challenging. For us at Hysopt, it was no different, the urgency for a positive climate impact showed once again its true colours. There are plenty of dooming news items to look back on. From a pandemic to natural disasters, to climate summits, etc. Action is needed. But we are very proud to say that we contributed to a change for the better.

Spoiler alert: we did even better than last year!

Doing our share

With the festivities behind us, it is time to take a look at what we accomplished this past year, and the numbers did not disappoint. *drumroll* 8.987,77 tonnes of CO2 reduction! That’s how much carbon emissions we helped save in 2021! On top of that, we were able to help our clients save €1.171.951,99 in operational energy costs! But let us translate; those 8.987,77 tonnes of CO2 are the equivalent of the amount of carbon emissions that approximately 450.000 trees would collect. That’s already a nice patch of greenery!

Growth and scalability

Our success goes further than just the results we offered our clients. The success of our team and Hysopt as a company deserves a shout-out as well. We were able to add some new members to the Hysopt-family, 11 to be exact. As of December 2021, we are officially a family of 30! And once again we organised new e-Academies, as well as webinars.

Of course, we cannot do a 2021 round-up without mentioning our offerings. One of them: the scalability of our HVAC optimisation software. The laws of nature within HVAC components translated to fast mathematical algorithms, and all of that in a professional and easy-to-use user interface. Calculated real-world scenarios, that help building owners gain back control. It speaks for itself that we continuously optimise the software on the back end.

Looking forward

And last but certainly not least, let’s take a moment to reflect on our newest creation, BIM. Our Hysopt BIM Feeder brings two worlds together: adding the data from Hysopt to the BIM model, as well as the data the BIM-modulator adds in the drawings to the Hysopt model. Both environments are thus made to fit together. This way, both are always synchronised. With a first alpha customer testing out the prototype and further development in full swing, we aim to release the first version somewhere in 2022.

So, to sum up, we worked hard this year, and a little pat on the back is well deserved!

But as we say goodbye to 2021, we say hello to a new year filled with new opportunities and even more enthusiasm to make a difference. We’ll take our learnings from the past year as we set our goals for the upcoming. Hysopt was created to help our planet and help its clients, and we intend to do just that once again in 2022!

Let’s get to work!
